The location of Kick Ass Grassmarket was fantastic! It was so convenient to be right in the heart of the city, close to all the landmarks and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and the fast WiFi was a bonus. The multiple bathrooms with toilets and showers ensured that there was always one available. The spaciousness of the bunk beds allowed for comfortable sitting and stretching. The laundry area on site was a big plus. Despite some minor drawbacks like unpredictable water temperature in the showers and the lack of curtains around the beds in mixed rooms, our overall experience was great. I would definitely recommend this hostel for its unbeatable location and value for money.

This hotel offers great value for money, with cheap drinks and breakfast options. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the lively Grassmarket area with astonishing views of the castle. The staff is friendly and attentive to detail.
The communal areas could be improved, as the kitchen had poor ventilation and unpleasant odors.

This hotel enjoys a prime location right on the old market square, which offers an immersive and authentic experience of the local vibe. the view from this hotel is stunning, allowing you to take in the bustling square and impressive architecture. As bike riders, we appreciated the convenient bike storage and easy access to nearby cycling trails.
The hotel's bar area lacked comfort and felt more like a dining area, reducing the options for leisure hangouts.

I stayed in a shared room this weekend and found the location was perfect for exploring the city. the staff were kind and helpful and the bedding was comfortable. I also appreciated the modern and clean facilities, especially the showers and kitchen.
I did find that the lack of ventilation was an issue and made it difficult to sleep comfortably at night. I noticed that the rooms were quite noisy, which made it difficult to get a good night's rest.

Great value! The breakfast was cheap and delicious, and the staff was super friendly. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the beds were comfortable. Plus, there was a bar on site with great drinks and a lively atmosphere.
The noise level was pretty high, even at night, so bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper. , the bathrooms could have been cleaner, but they were functional.
